That made me chuckle when he said we are in safe hands. Microsoft is not a company which i would class as safe.

This is my options for choosing which version that I will use.

**Gaming**
- Is it for modern gaming? Windows 11.
- Is it for gaming but low-end specs? Windows 10.
- Is it for emulation/emulator games? Windows 10.

**Programming**
- Do you have to program UWP application? Windows 11.
- No UWP but Visual Studio? Windows 10.
- Heavy programming with WSL2 and Docker? Windows 10.
- Android Development? Windows 10.

**Multimedia**
- Graphic Design only? Windows 10/11.
- Adobe Ecosystem Supremacy? Windows 11.
- Drawing is your passion? Windows 10/11.

**Looksmaxxing*
- Do you want MacOS? Windows 11.
- Love retro stuff? Windows 10.

**Security**
- Do you want latest features? Windows 11.
- Do you want stability? Windows 10.
- Not really care about updates? Windows 10.

**Performance**
- Do you have low-end PC? Windows 10.
- Do you want AI girlfriend(s)? Windows 11 (w/ Copilot AI)
- Do you want to get rid Edge browser? Windows 10.

Just do not disable Windows Defender, even though it is having small to significant impacts into your performance, but WD is the best anti-virus that actually free for your PC.

Skipping every other version of Windows has been the right move for a long time and it seems that's not changing. I'm still on 10 and getting ready to format and reload 10 again. Decided to watch a number of videos about why you should move to 11 and I don't see any real benefits to making the change. I guess I'll just wait for the next version again, plus a few years on top of that for the bugs to get worked out.

An upgrade to Windows 11 can feel very confusing, sometimes it feels like a more bloated Windows 10, you may have to click more sub-menu's to get to your favourite preferences. I'm sure Windows 12 would be much nicer, but I haven't found anything Windows 11 can do that Windows 10 can't.

I stayed on 7 for quite a while and then updated to 10. Very cautious on updating.

The issue with Windows 11 is its a side grade, not an upgrade. Ill go to it for more support but it doesnt feel better.

Just skip Windows 11 and go straight to Windows 12 when it releases in 2024/2025. Since the dawn of time it has always been a viable option to just skip every other Windows version.

I tried windows 11 for I think a month, one morning, I tried my secondary laptop with windows 10 and just had much more fun and overall a better around 1-2 hours of using that than windows 11 as a whole, I don’t know if the reason is that it was when windows 11 was released and didn’t have as many features, and so I switched back to windows 10.

i like windows 11, but i downgraded to windows 10, mainly because windows 11 screws with my gpu drivers like big time, i try and play vr, and windows updates my gpu and disables my amd drivers, so my vr stops working, i never had that issue in windows 10.

I'm still rocking a 10 year old PC. Bios year 2013 LOL. Kept upgrading little by little. Upgraded the HDD to SSD, Upgraded the Ram from 8 to 16 to 32, Video card upgraded too going good with my 1660 super. Thankfully original cpu is still rocking good, i7-3820. Seems that investing in a good CPU was well worth it. Too bad Microsoft says my computer is not up to spec for Windows 11 due to some security stuff.

Does Windows 11 have trouble with keeping time or is this video from 11/2/2021 and you just happened to post it in the summer of 2023? I was looking at the date in the corner. Or did you somehow install it without being connected to the internet. Or did you for some reason just change the date back a couple years.

I like the look of Windows 11 but I really don't like how bloated it is and how it seems to struggle with keeping itself from falling a prat (at least that's how I feel it is) plus I have never used W11 once without it glitching in some way or another.

MY OPINION: Windows 10 is better just because it is simple and Microsoft is bombarding me and other Win10 users with ads to upgrade to 11. They have also buried options deep down when previously you could get to them in a matter of clicks. The start menu sucks in my opinion due to its poor design. I tried Win11 out on my computer and I downgraded to 10 after a few days. Just a reminder for those who are thinking of going back to 10, I heard that option is available for a limited time so please make the decision fast. I'm still not used to the new File Explorer design, and for me, it is kinda hard opening the legacy menus. Finally, the right-click context menu is so confusing. I feel that Win11 is a downgrade from Win10 and I will probably be using it until 2025 (or if Windows 12 is released). Besides, Microsoft is sooo strict with its hardware requirements that are quite expensive for people that are trying to save money while wanting to get a new Windows 11 PC.

I had installed windows 11 when it had its first developer build out but now I have reverted back to windows 10 as there was sound crackling issue in windows 11 after an update and I reinstalled windows 11 to see if the problem was fixed but naah it wasn't and performance has improved on my laptop with windows 10 my ram usage was around 52-53% in windows 11 when my laptop was idle but in windows 10 its 42-43% cpu usage was never less than 3% but on windows 10 it touches 1% while playing need for speed heat fps hovered around 25-35 in windows 11 with lag and stutters but in windows 10 its for specs I have ryzen 5 3550h gtx 1650 8gb ram and 512gb ssd

On Windows 11, is it possible to shift the buttons on the bottom bar to be aligned left (just like in Windows 10)? I hate that they are centered. And also, is it possible to make the bar black (instead of white)? These are my only concerns about Windows 11.

Not receiving updates sounds like a good thing honestly. In addition to some other instances of updates breaking certain features, my start menu (on Win 10) has been completely broken for years, ever since one of their forced updates killed it. Had the same experience on another PC running W10 and only a complete OS reinstall with formatting will help. Microsoft always bites off more than they can chew (test) and I just can't deal with these damn updates anymore. W10 for me.
