idk man, i grew up in the 90's, we use brita when i was growing up and i have no issues with it whatsoever. i feel like my generation have better immune system than the youngins rn.

What about all the water that reverse osmosis wastes? I wanted to get one but when I heard that I had second thoughts. Also, it takes out minerals from the water as well so trace minerals or something like that are needed I hear.

I mean I get why y’all are dragging him in the comments but just scientifically speaking this type of system would do the best job. The key is the reverse part of reverse osmosis. The reason he mentioned pressure is that active force pushing the water through is the only way to really make it go against is natural tendency to equalize gradient.
Don’t get be wrong a brita is similar using the gravity/potential diff of the water to get it to go through but very passive in comparison
