The Truth About Brita Water Filters - Ph And TDS Test
According to the description of Brita Premium filtering water bottle, it is designed to reduce chlorine, odor and other contaminants from tap water. 1 filter is supposed to replace 300 plastic water bottles. The filter needs to be changed every 2 months for a great taste. You can use the Brita water bottle only with water 85F/29C. Do not freeze the bottle or the filter. Do not microwave.
Results:

What did we find out when we tested Brita premium filtering water bottle?
First of all Brita water bottle filter did not change the results of the TDS and the pH as you can see in the video. Our tap water TDS was in 291 ppm and after passing the water through the filter of Brita filter the result of the TDS was 294 ppm, nearly the same. The pH result was the same, the tap water and filtered water pH balance was 8.
Next, the bottle is very uncomfortable to use. There is no way that you can drink the water through the straw, no matter how hard you try.
We promised in this video to do the second video of Brita premium filtering water bottle after using the bottle for 1 month and see if the results of the TDS and pH test will change. But we would not be able to do it, as we could not use the bottle. To get water out the straw needs to touch the bottom and there should be water there, when you raise the bottom of the bottle the water goes towards the top, making it pretty much impossible to drink.
