I grew up Mormon. I agree with you, it's not close to biblical Christianity at all. I have never been a Christian and have no desire to be one. I think the way the church lies is disgusting.
Yes, I still very much believe in Apotheosis (becoming a God). I believe in multiple life probations (transmigration of souls on many worlds) and also in antinomianism ( living in opposition to the prevailing customs/beliefs of current culture). I don't attempt to call it anything but what it is, Satanism. I want nothing to do with Christ. I say so bluntly unlike the LDS.
I respect the person who made this video because he is not just playing nice. You know where he stands. With Mormon people, you can never tell if they are just beard pulling or not.

And actually, polytheism is worshipping multiple gods; there is a distinction here: it’s monolatry- the belief that there are multiple gods but ONLY ONE IS WORSHIPPED
