I chose Oklahoma over California. I made more money in California, but I didn't have much left over after paying ridiculous gasoline and real estate prices. They tax anything and everything. They'd tax your eyeballs if they could get away with it.

I live in Pittsburgh. Recently the rent and housing cost have gone way up. Parts of the city are nice other parts are really rough.
