🔎 EXCERPT 🔎
What are the cheapest cities to live in South America?
Today, you will discover the answer to this question.
And for me, it was a shocker.
As a South American myself, I was impressed by this ranking for two reasons:
1st: There is not a single city in my country, Brazil, among the cheapest.
2nd: I imagined that most of the cities would be in the poorest countries.
like Bolivia
or Suriname.
But no.
In fact, one of these cities is in a country that is more developed than many European nations!
The criteria used to define and filter the cheapest cities in South America are:
1st: The Size
Size matters in this case.
Smaller cities are cool.
but to analyze thousands of little municipalities would take an enormous amount of time, so we considered only cities with more than 500,000 residents.
2nd: The Living Cost Index by Numbeo

I’m in Argentina now. Been here 2 months. If you like steaks and wine (for amazingly cheap), this place is heaven. I’m in Mar del Plata. It’s the best province in Buenos Aires. It’s 5 hours away from the capital, but worth it. The beach and people are amazing. And cheaper than Buenos Aires.

In this video you mention that. your home country is Brasil. Your accent, however, seems not typical of someone from Brasil. I am wondering if there is a language other than Brazilian Portuguese and English that has created your very distinct accent. And I LOVE your videos. Please keep them coming.
