I tripped over the staircase last night. I thought I was lucky to escape without a scratch. But I woke up with pain and a swollen feet. I searched and did this exercises with you and by the time I was done the swelling was visibly reduced and pain almost insignificant. Incredible. Are you amazing or what?

Dear Doctor Jo, thank you much! I had horrible pains in my leg and your advice was very simple to put into practice. With horrible pains we cannot do much. Just putting a big pillow under my hurting leg I was able to have some sleep (unbelievable!!!!) and I felt much better in the morning. Thank you so so so so so so much! Thank you so much for explaining why you elevate your legs after an injury. A lot of videos just tell you that it reduces swelling but never explain how that actually works.

I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency (post ankle break and dislocation) and have neuropathy in my toes. Since I can't take the constriction, I use a toe-less compression sock on the affected leg, with a sock or stocking over it, year round. It took some getting used to initially, but now, I'm fine. As you stated, when I wear it, at the end of the day there's no swelling.

Thank you for these! I’m dealing with the aftermath of a tibia and fibula clean break and I am cast-less. My orthopaedic surgeon told me lots of elevation and ankle circles to hopefully strengthen my muscles to walk again w/o boot or crutches
