I love this video! We have chickens and they are great for cleaning up any compost, they can eat almost anything! Plus they are pretty inexpensive, all you would need is simple supplies like food, water, and a coop, you can get them for $2-3 at tractor supply in a small batch, they are very smart and are great in every way, they are hilarious to watch in your backyard! And not to mention they lay you breakfast, lunch, dinner every day! They sure can be a bang for your buck. How you teach them when they are young will reflect on how that act when they are adults, so keep that in mind if you decide to get some, if you teach them well they can be great teachers for you and your kids! Your kids can learn how an animal functions and watch them grow with them. We have 21 at the moment and they have done wonders, including destroying the flower garden 😂😂 but they keep bugs away and antbeds. They are over all a great friend to have in your backyard, I hope this kinda helps you in whatever way! Have fun with your chicks if you gets some!!!

Wow. Where I live, in a city in Sweden. We are recycling everything. We have a compost, and like all paper, boxes, metallic tins and so on. But if I don't remember wrong Sweden is one of the best in terms of recycling

I've been composting in my garden & you can definitely tell a difference. The dirt looks richer and my vegetable plants give higher yield

I was really surprised that composting was not sth you did already because here in Germany it has been a thing for quite some time I think. We have been composting our garden for as long as I can remember (I'm 18). And I think it is a law to separate your trash into paper, plastic, general rubbish and biodegradable materials like egg shells or banana skin. Waste seperation is controlled here and if you don't seperate peoperly you have to pay the high transport and seperation costs. Not sure about how this is in other countries it's just what I know about it here in Germany

I love love love this! Great subject matter with some great ideas! I love that you use your exposure on YouTube to make the world a better place! One thing I do to reduce trash- try not to buy "disposable" items to begin with. Small novelty items we use to fill goodie bags, stockings, Easter baskets ect. all end up in the landfill. Choose quality items that will last when making a purchase.

Love this video!!! So, what we do to prevent these kind of situations is in our school, we did an environmental campaign where we made DIY's using recyclable stuff and sell them. One of our best sellers here are these cute little bags which are made from drinking straws. Weaving the straws into a bag takes a lot of time... but it's worth it. Also, we would like to thank you guys because you gave our class brand new ideas so we can sell them. The shrinking charms that Brooke made are so cute and easy that we made a whole box out of it. When we sold those charms, the whole box almost got empty. So, see you this Friday. Bye!!! :)

I would totally recommend the composte idea! I have a large bin in my backyard that we throw our composte in. Every year when we plant new flowers/plants we use the soil from it which is SO enriched and so good for plants!
