Does MY Insurance PAY for a Rental Car, After an ACCIDENT?

Did you ask about rental car reimbursement when you purchased your auto insurance policy? If not, you'll need to figure out how to get around while the car is being fixed.

Rental Reimbursement aka "Transportation Expense" coverage applies a certain dollar amount to help offset (or completely pay for) the cost of renting a car after an accident.

This is NOT automatic and the options vary greatly by carrier. You'll need to have collision and/or comprehensive coverage in order to purchase it. It'll typically provide reimbursement for up to 30-days. The expense is usually reasonable to add it and we recommend you do.
