Diamonds can't do either of those mechanics. If someone is doing that in Diamond, they are either a smurf who can't make it in champ or just a champ who can't take the heat in their own rank

I'm literally champ 1 and my airdribbles look exactly like the diamond's, it's not about the mechanics

Mechanics are tricky to determine rank though, I hit SSL and have almost no mechanics 😅

This guy overestimates diamonds. Most of us cant aor dribble, and barely can ground dribble.

alr i understand that some people arent mechanical but not being able to air dribble in diamond is DIABOLICAL

All diamonds I’ve faced just ball chase, there is a 40% chance you get people who tries to dribble of the wall and in that 40% you have 15% that actually can hit nasty combos or do tricks the rest of that % just fails 😂

As someone who got to diamond without knowing any flashy techs, not being able to reliably air dribble or pull off tricky flicks ain't a good measure. It's mostly game sense

Okay I’m not gonna defend the flick attempt, but diamonds rarely have air mechs outside of basic double taps and fast aerials. Plats are infamous for crazy air mechs, but those plats also are trash at the game (generally) and don’t rank up. I just hit champ for the first time, I have hit one wall-to-air dribble in my life in game and it was like 4 total touches (I count anything 3+)

It’s funny cause I usually am in champ when I’m actively playing and I can’t do all the fancy dribbles and all that stuff. I just keep it simple, play smart, play fast, and know how to rotate…

You can reach diamond and champ without doing good machanics at that level you need game sense, basic skill, and boost managment
