It is important to note that not all diamonds glow or fluoresce. A fake diamond, on the other hand, will almost never glow under black light. So the black light test isn’t the most reliable.

There are also a lot of real diamonds with no fluorescence. If you don’t know how to tell a real diamond from a fake, it’s best to just take it to a jeweler.

It’s not fake if it’s fluorescent even if it’s green it doesn’t mean it’s fake it just means that they didn’t grow it properly

This is inaccurate. Real diamonds “glow” at different levels or even don’t glow at all based on their fluorescence factor. The only real way to tell if a diamond is real is with a very good diamond tester that differentiates between diamonds, moissanites, and sapphires. Even then I’d still want a certification and appraisal from a jeweler if I’m spending any big money on a diamond

Not all real diamonds glow, the only ones that formed with Boron present will glow.
