Obviously depends on what phone you currently have. Anything newer than a 2022 phone, the answer is an emphatic NO!

Typically, I choose the pro max each year, but this time I opted for the pro version, which is arriving tomorrow. Now, I'm anticipating the PS5 Pro.

Why is no one talking about the oxg feature being removed and gone…

Probably - since my iphone is already a few years old.
But only if I get the phone outside of the US. I really don't want to deal with eSIMs when swapping between it and my backup phone.

If your phone is at least 10 years old, then yes upgrade.

Mat omitted the clinical hearing aid software update for air pods pro 2, even though there was no new hardware.

When is Engadget going to hire someone who understands how to export video for YouTube? Hey Engadget, right click on this video and select "Stats for Nerds". From there you'll see that the volume in this video is measured as 14.2 dB too quiet. That number is supposed to be at or near 0.0 dB. At 5 dB too quiet, viewers will notice. At 10 dB too quiet, your video has the quality of a middle schooler's essay composed with an absence of effort the night before it was due. At almost 15 dB too quiet, this video is unwatchable.

Why are you willfully producing poorly made videos? All you need to do is use the correct export settings and suddenly they'd go from unwatchable to fairly good. I've put up with your poorly produced videos for too long. This was the last one. You've lost a subscriber. While you might think you've got plenty to lose, no one is watching your videos. Of your 1.41M subscribers, a mere 5K have watched this video. That's less than half of 1%. Engadget needs every pair of eyeballs you can get and uploading poorly produced videos is not the way to make that happen. Your behavior is baffling.

The base model iPhones are feature rich this year and are far more capable than previous years devices, for the majority of people this is the one to get irrespective of the 60 Hz.
