I also talk about my personal choice to upgrade and what makes it worth it.

For me, it’s more of an itch to upgrade but not really needed. I mean, i have I think a 2018..it’s not really slow. Works great for my needs (i dont edit here or anything). Hopefully I don’t give in

I Understand why Apple Insider and other power users would want the M1 iPad Pro…It’s all about power and Bragging Rights! To be honest with you I’ve used my wife’s 2020 iPad Pro and there’s literally no performance issues whatsoever so unless iPadOS can take advantage of the M1 with professional level apps then I don’t see the point in upgrading from 2018 or 2020 iPad Pro to the M1. Also it’s great that Apple upgraded the 12.9 inch iPad Pro screen with 1000 nits of brightness But honestly who is going to sit in front of anything that has 1000 to 1600 and nits of brightness? I guarantee you most people will set the screen brightness to about 70% and that 1600 mitts of Max brightness is only good if you plan on sitting outside and doing work. Honestly the 2018 iPad Pro and 2020 iPad Pro are leagues ahead of what Intel has to offer and even Microsofts Surface Pro line. So my suggestion is unless Apple really upgrades iPadOS and makes it something more special to get the best out of the M1 that I don’t see the point in upgrading for more power just so you can export your 4K videos 20 seconds faster….It’s great that Apple upgraded the iPad Pro to the M1 but to match that special processor they need to really upgrade the software on iPad OS to take it advantage of all that M1 power!!

have the 10.5” ipad pro but very disappointed Apple didn’t bring the XDR display to the 11”. Will probably wait another year!

I’m gonna upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A to the Ipad pro 12.9, last year upgraded from Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ to the iPhone 12 Pro Max and i love it . Battery is amazing!

I want it... but I’m using my iPad Air 3 mostly for Netflix and reading so it is hard to justify the purchase. It’s like I have to get a new job or passions to use all that power.

I recently purchase 12.9 iPad Pro a month back. 2020 model. Should I upgrade to newest one or not .I used iPad mostly for watching video or listening to music or drawing only. I do not know what is final cut pro luma fusion. I tried to learn and understand these but they all goes over my head. Hats of to you people.how do you do.

My 2011 MacBook Pro finally gave up on me, when I costed the MacBook Pro I wanted I thought, what else is there?? So I'm going to get the iPad Pro 12.9 2TB and will attempt to have it as a laptop replacement.
