I like to experience being a max town hall before starting all over again. You can see what your base has become and experience it for like a week or two. Feels great like that

Simple answer: max heroes, max lab, then max out buildings. Heroes and lab are most important and defenses don't always need to be maxed

I remember when it penalized you loot if you attacked lower th. Glad they fixed that so rushing isn’t really that bad anymore. Sucks being stuck with upgrading defense when all offense is done.

i randomly downloaded this game out of curiosity, rushed to th9 then i realize i shouldn’t. i’m 4 weeks in and my archer towers, air defense and cannons are maxed i’m on my way👍🏻. wish i knew this before 😢

The only upgrades I ignore before town hall is traps🙈
Tbh, if I have rune of elixir and I can't take another one from clan games, I just do walls🤷🏽‍♂️


Edit 7 months later with the new townhall. I'm done upgrading walls. Once I finish up walls for th14, I'm not touching them until after I max 16. And if 17 comes up before then, I'll wait until I max out that

Just upgraded to TH11. For my main account, I tend to upgrade when I feel I've learned all the strats & maxed out almost everything. Left some collectors because I don't really value them.
As for my rushed base, I keep it 2 TH levels ahead of my main so I can donate max troops to myself. I call it self care babyyyy :P

Except ½ of the walls are maxxes out
Sometimes i may leave out traps and few laboratory upgrades are left behind
