My dad always told me "you did what you could with the information you had" and it really helps to forgive myself for my past and go forward without "what ifs" <3

I wish more influencer parents were like Cam. She actually understands the dangers of the internet and doesn't pretend to be oblivious. I'm so happy she wants to protect her kids!!

This video is genuinely one of the most authentic things I've ever watched.

Another thing is cam has never once spoken badly of Landon. She has told the truth, she shared her experience with him. She has said time and time again she loved and does still love Landon and is grateful for the time she had with him . Landon gave her 2 beautiful daughters and she spent many years with him but again he abused her, of course she has mixed emotions about the entire situation and not only that she wants the girls to know about him and tell them not only the truth but how much he loved them and what he was like before his addiction and before the abuse.

Baby girl, your story is your story. My husband took his life almost 14 years ago, so I totally understand what you mean. I used to feel guilty for telling my story, but it happened to me too and I’m entitled to have my own feelings about what happened, no matter how complex they are. What happened was not your fault. He unfortunately made a permanent decision for temporary problems. I have followed you since Landon’s passing because I felt your pain, and I’ve watched you raise your babies as a baby yourself going through a very traumatic situation, and you are doing an amazing job. It’s not easy, and everything isn’t “instagram” perfect, but you’re doing fabulous! ❤

Hey! I started following you when you lost your husband and I have been following your life for the past years and I’m constantly impressed on how good of a mother you are and how much of a good job you are doing with moving on and simply living your life. It’s nice to see you growing up and being so mature even with everything you had to face. As I said, i’ve been following for a while and you’re doing a great job. Hope life treats you and your girls well! You deserve it! Keep updating us when u can xx

I’m still so sad about Landon’s passing but that was not your fault and the fact that some people tried to say that you had something to do with it are just crazy I’ve watched you guys since day 1 and loved and still do your videos! You amaze me of how you over came things when you share even though you absolutely don’t have to!!

Oh my goodness girl I have been an OG of yours since you’ve been pregnant with Colette. You’re an amazing mom and I’m so proud of you. My heart breaks for the trauma and what you’ve had to go through in life just know you’re not alone I was a young mom And I know how much you get for that so just know that you are amazing. You’re so strong you are so beautiful. Don’t let the haters get to you because at the end of the day they’re your biggest fans you’re amazing camera and I’m so proud of you like I said, I am one of your biggest fans I watch every video you post I’ve watched since Colette was born to Delilah, being born to Landon’s death, and that broke me to watch how much whiplash you got for that, but just know you did what you thought was best and what you could and you’re amazing and I love you stay strong

I’m so incredibly sorry for what you’ve gone through. I can see from the way you talk about yourself that you’ve ALWAYS tried to do the best you can. Never have you ever stopped and said “eh, I’m just gonna be selfish. I’m just gonna stop being responsible and a kind and gentle mom”. You’ve done so much to shield your daughters and your family from the pain and burden you’ve been carrying. You are a true hero Cam❤️

So very refreshing to find a young lady who is mature beyond her years. I wish that vloggers of family channels would heed the words of this young lady who is speaking from her own experience. How parents can blatantly film their children from the day they entered this world is just unimaginable. I know of one family vlogger with several young kids, some of whom have been heard to ask their parents not to film them, but continue to appear in the vlogs, obviously to increase viewership. I just shudder to think how these kids would be able to transition smoothly into adulthood and not carry any baggage from their vlogging years.
Cam, thank you for making this video. You are one admirable young lady. Stay strong for your girls and wish you have a beautiful future ahead.

My heart breaks for you so much. You are still so young. I know that you handled your situation way better than I would have. I think you're doing an amazing job! I'm in my 40s, and I'm grateful that there was no social media when I was a teenager and young adult. I was a hot mess. I have an 18 year old and at 16, I noticed right away when he was struggling and got him to our doctor the very next day. As a parent, my heart was so broken. He's doing great now.

You're so so young. Like really still soooo young .You've a long life ahead. Your Past is not the present you. We all grow and go through different stuff in this long journey of life. We make mistakes, we fall, we cry but at the end of the we have to get up and make this journey beautiful for us. This world has too many stuff for us to enjoy 😌.

I've been following your story for years now (around the time Coco was born) and I remember that even then I was just so beyond impressed by you. I'm only a couple years older than you and I was just in awe at how you managed things - and I still am today! You are so young and yet you have experienced more in those few years than most people do in their entire lives. The way you are always trying the best you can, how you are always such a good mum to Coco and DeDe and the way you've handled your mental health challenges is just such an inspiration. Even though I already knew your age, when you just said it in the video, I was just shocked all over again at how such a young person can deal with such heavy challenges in such a strong and mature way. I honestly don't know if there are many people who could have done, what you did! I know I'm proud of you and I really hope that you are too - because you definitely should be!

Wow that first photo of you at 10/11 is Collette all over! I am floored. As for growing up in the social media eye, I can't imagine what that would be like. You were probably in amongst the first generations to do so. It will be interesting to see what happens to everyone as we grow older with it.
