Brilliant video. That first Eigenvalue being gibberish caused me so much headache because I thought my program was wrong. Finally got the whole thing. Thank you.

I think E matrix's element is the energy level of a hydrogen
but, at 8:01 Why energy level of hydrogen have positive value?

I still don't get it. How Plancks constant, mass and electronic charge are different from what I know. How did you massage it?

Thank you for the explicit explanation. Please, how can one input boundary values to this?

Why the first eigen value is absurd and we have to accept the second one is the correct one?

Thank you so much Sir. Just One question. Along Y axis, its written wave function. But didnt you plot U(r) ? Is it wave function? I understood its U(r)/r. Please tell me where am I wrong!

🙏 sir, i have a doubt at 2:52 if K*U then 1st row will be -2U(1)+U(2), 2nd row is U(1)-2U(2)+U(3) like wise the last row will be U(n-1)-2U(n)
i can't understand the 1st and last row expression because in 1st row U(i-1) and in last row U(i+1) is absent

Why we are not taking angstrom value during defining constants?

What are the remaining value of E like E(3) E(4).... mean? Shouldn't it be 2nd excited state 3rd excited state etc? The value don't look right. The rounding off error is that significant?

Thank you for you nice explanation and programming. But I was trying the same method in python, but could not able to find the eigen values properly. Can you help? Thank you in Advance.

Why you use finite difference method ?
While You could also use shooting or numerov method, ,, has it large accuracy or which method has that large accuracy and why, can you answer please, it will help me a lot .
