"We don't want you to lose your progress!" In business speak, why would they spend any money on developing a new game when people are still buying millions of Sims 4 packs that are half-finished and broken?

If they aren’t doing a Sims 5 anytime in the near future, then they NEED to take the time to fix the base game, fix the broken packs, and make sure new packs are ready at launch.

Girl I and most people don’t have a decade of game play in one save 😭 the game bugs out way too much to keep a single save. I just want open world, cars and more sims 4 is super lackinnn

i actually want to start over, market (and players) evolved so much during the past decade. give us something new, something fresh. no amount of packs, free updates and kits will change the fact that the basegame itself is very dated and also isnt even that stable

sims 4 is so dated, not even open world unlike sims 3... if they really wanted to impress people, redo the entire game engine and make it open world

The whole "we're worried players will lose over a decades worth of gameplay" is so ridiculous considering tons of players have lost their entire save files due to the consistent game-breaking bugs with each expansion pack release.

It’s okay. Inzoi is around the corner and seems to be the answer to all of my wants and dreams for what the sims 5 could be. If EA refuses to make a sims 5 and continues iterating on one of the worst versions of the sims they’ve ever made, that’s fine, all of their playerbase will flock to Inzoi, then they’ll be forced to make a new version. That’s called competition. They realized there was absolutely no game like the sims, not even close to what it did, until Inzoi.

This is going to bite them. Everyone who is tired of TS4 will jump ship and either buy Inzoi this fall, or Paralives in 2025, when it's projected to release. TS4 will be an old game, and will see the downfall of the Sims series, if EA doesn't step up and do something different. I know not everyone can afford a new gaming PC to play Inzoi on, but Paralives is going to be optimized to work on laptops. They haven't shared PC requirements yet, but it sounds like it will be a lot lower than Inzoi.

This is irritating….it’s time to move forward to Sims 5. Sims 4 came out in 2014 it is now 2024, it’s time for a new engine and upgrade. Why continue to spend on a bugged out game that is 10 years old. “They can fix the bugs”, personally don’t care at this point I want upgraded graphics etc at this point.
