At the very least they need to go refresh and add a lot of content to every expansion pack!

I’m kinda happy that the sims 4 is sticking around for now. I don’t really want to start fresh after I’ve been playing for years (and on long lifespan so I get kinda attached). I personally feel that way but I understand your opinion as well. I play other games of course but I just don’t see myself getting as invested in a new game so I’m neutral about there not being a sims 5, and at this point I’d be more upset if sims 4 stopped receiving maintenance because it was no longer the main game.
I’m very curious about what project Rene is though.

I just wish they would release sims 5 and make that the foundation for the sims. Then we could start with a clean slate without all the bugs and mess that the sims 4 has already.

last night, i was on a FB group, and someone was arguing about how it is "possible" we can download mods. 🙄 so i said, "i wish they would make mods/ccs for console people to purchase" and BOOM everyone started calling me dumb. 🤣 it's crazy we want to share theories and wishful thinking, and we can't be adults and share our theories! you can't even help people by saying it's not possible for mods, on sims on consoles.

I'm one of those people who mostly plays TS3 and only plays 4 sometimes. I completely agree with you about the take that the VP has haha. I do not agree with that mindset, because like you said, we can continue to still play the past games once another releases. I think The Sims Franchise deserves another go at open world on a stable engine, and to also axe the emotions and go back to a combo of what TS2/3 have, and overall I just want something completely new, and most importantly, hopefully more stable 😆

i hope they come out with a GP for infants like how they did with toddlers i’m a console player so i can’t download cc for my infants and it literally drives me crazy. I also hope that they come out with kits that have hair! I think that would be cool, especially more afro textured hair or box braids of some kind

Tbh the news of no Sims 5 makes me relieved. Not because I don’t want to “start over, ” but because I want them to give TS4 the attention it deserves. Sims 4 is the first sims game I’ve owned and I want to see them improve its stability and the game content. I want them to prove the content is worth as much as it costs. Am I overly optimistic? Perhaps, but I love this game and it gets depressing when all I see are complaints (which are fair and just, of course.) I want everyone to have a good experience with this game.

i dont like the “start over” because i still play sims 3 just as much as i play sims 4. like they had a huge opprotunity and built so much hope for a new sims title to FINALLY take over, but it seems theyre only keeping sims 4 going because theyre still making millions from it. its just so disappointing.

I was kind of nervous when I read the Creator Kits headline, too. With EPs being $40, GPs being $20, SPs being $10, and Kits being $5, I really wondered how EA was gonna try to charge for Creator Kits. Luckily such is not the case for now.

I do wonder how they plan on appealing to and retaining older and newer players. There's a lot of things they can definitely improve in the game, so I'm hoping there will be things like more pack refreshes and bug fixes. Personally I wouldn't mind if they did free bundles on Epic just a tad bit more (but that's just me having a mighty need for the Vampires pack lol).

Hopefully they keep working on fixing the broken packs and glitches. I don't know how I feel about a sims movie though 😂

I'm very content with playing The Sims 4. I'm one of those players who's very attached to their Sims. I do not want to start over in another game. So the sims 5 not being a thing. I'm okay with, but if they would invest more time and more effort into fixing The Sims 4 it would be more enjoyable for everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have in Store for the Sims 4. I personally can do without a sims 5. Sims 4 needs to be fixed before you move on to something else.

Can we get a newborn pack, driving, color wheel, open world, make it freaking easy to make poses for pictures in the game like Sims 3. It’s SO hard now with the stupid knight thing. Sorry, but I’m trying to do that now and it’s impossible😭😭

im glad there wont be a sims 5 yet, it gives me the chance to become a maxis employee and try and be lead in concept ideas for the game, I have notebooks ready!!
