You just described my childhood :( all the way into my 40’s. I’m going to be 45 in a month. Last year my husband, son and I sold our house and moved 50 mins away from my parents, mostly my narcissist mother. I’ve been working with a therapist for almost 4 years and I was not prepared for how hard this was going to be. The healing journey is full of so many intense emotions. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, it’s a very long tunnel but I see the light, it is there! I’m glad people are talking about this. Thank you.
