This is the laptop I’m using right now. I’m currently in nursing school and the m1 air works like a dream no stutter or slow downs and you couldn’t even tell it’s a 4 yr old laptop

Finally! A review that didn't mention the "chunky" bezels being a downside. For the majority of users, the relatively thicker bezels are not an issue. You barely notice them. Also, if you want more screen real estate, you shouldn't be getting a 13-inch laptop in the first place.

I just bought an open box at Best Buy for 645 and a extra 175 for geek squad and apple care🥰 I love it so far

just bought my first ever macbook and opted for the 2020 model because i could never justify 1k for a laptop and wow it's so smooth. it takes seconds to load, there's no heating or loud fan. it's taking a bit getting adjusted being a windows user for 10+ years but it's definitely worth it

Built mine from parts and spares I found on facebook market place for a fraction of the secondhand cost. I absolutely love it. It looks new and is so so quick!!!

Bought mine used 4 days ago for less than 700 dollars. Battery cycle is 3 and the shop said it was only used less than a week and the previous owner returned it back for an upgrade. It still has a warranty for 10 months. Im in love with it. I came from macbook air 2015 and decided to retire it because the battery doesn’t hold up anymore, although im still using it for watching youtube and it still works great performance wise. Everything on M1 feels blazing fast

After seeing a lot of reviews I finally took my decision and will go to a M1 MacBook Air the M2 version seems to be an in between one. I do mainly photo editing and sometimes video editing. The differences between the two models are too tiny to justify a difference of almost 250 euros. If I need more power then I will go the M3 MBP. The leap was done by the M1 the M2, M3 will just add some light variations I think we must wait two or three generations of M series to see another leap.

For the DAW software I use, an M1 MacBook Air with 16GB could easily replace my 5, 1 Mac Pro. I use a 24" 1080p display and a 43" 4K display and can get a VESA stand for the laptop and 24" display, buy an inexpensive Thunderbolt 3 hub and it will do everything I need it to. The fact they're starting to appear for under £800 now with a 12-month warranty from some of the used Mac sites mean it's not going to be difficult to get one once I have the means to save up for it but I'm still keeping my eye on the price of the 14" M1 Pro because as they get cheaper, they become a better option overall but I simply can't justify the price difference for an additional 2 performance cores and the other features at present when I could get a brand new M2 Pro Mac Mini for what they sell for. I obviously wouldn't be using the 24" monitor with the M1 Air. But I wouldn't need to use it.

Bought mine for $699 brand new from my local Walmart. It's been the best laptop I've ever owned.

My "late 2013" pro finally died the other week and I couldn't see a reason to stick with the Pro any more, so it's the 2020 Air for me - with a stick on hub.

Yup, , , , me too! Have an M1 Pro 16" which is could not pass up at the current price offering of the M1 Air. This little thing is amazing. Built like a tank, fast as hell, slim, light and, portable. All with an M1 chip. Best bang for your buck$$. Absolutely Priceless:)

I’ve had two brand new Pro’s and my 10 y/o one is still good except can’t operate on a couple buying sites, but I use my iPad as well. Just bought a refurbished MI 13” Air here in Australia from a super reputable Australian company, and my husband bought a MacBook Air from them and my iPad is from them. My MI was $999AU and it gets here in 2 days. It is saving me big bucks because I was considering the new 2024 M3. My current Pro has USB ports so am not bothered that the Air does not. Can’t wait for the MI Air! . I chose this one because reviews are so good, just like yours😁

I bought mine in mid 2021 right before my master's program started. And even to this day, it runs like its new, and the battery is amazing. I would definitely recommend buying it if you do not do nonintensive stuff on the laptop! It's the best laptop I have ever owned!

The most realistic review I've ever seen in my life regarding MacBook Airs. Most of the so called YouTubers are overkilling themselves by the latest of the latest of the MacBooks...Pros and 36GB or RAMS.. for no particular reasons. Your video really shows that Apple makes products to the customers for many years of use. I've bought my first Mac (iMac 24" ) in 2013 and I used it until the end of 2020 and honestly I hadn't had any issues with it during that 7 years time period. Thanks again!

I had the MacBook Air M1 with 16GB and 512GB SSD, really happy with it. I didn't choose the M1 MacBook Pro at that time is that, I hate the Touch Bar. The air is great for its size and capability to do things on the go. If I need more power, I would then go to a Mac Studio as a desk set up.

You can use more than one external display, but you need dongle/dock which supports DisplayLink technology.
