I bought this mac from flipkart for around 54k by exchanging my 2017 pentium processor hp laptop for 9k with exchange bonus. Man this laptop is a beast for that price range. You can get this around 64k without exchange from flipkart, it's still worthy for that price range too.

You can only 2 to 3 years of macOS not recommended, just think about security stand point and ram upgrade will cost you around 15k to 20k

I bought this laptop in Jan 2022 and its the best purchase i have ever made when it comes to tech. For anyone wondering about charge times this laptop charges in About 2hrs with the charger that comes in the box. I use it daily. Also if you are not video editing i can assure that you can get about 13-14hrs of battery life because thats what am getting with my usage. My usage is safari with 3-4 tabs, chrome with 4-5 tabs, pycharm, visual studio, imessage, whatsapp, mail. I have been using this laptop for mainly learning and content consumption. On macos 14.4.1 the software is stable as it can get. Overnight battery drain is just 1 percent which surprises me even to this day. And the battery health is still at 96 percent after 2 years of usage. Also i have a base model btw and i never faced ram issues, the swap usage is about 200-400mb at most. For anyone wanting a good laptop with great battery life, screen, keyboard, trackpad, build quality and lastly decently good speakers and you have no problem with macos this machine is the one to get between 60-70k. I will probably use this one for 4 more years and then upgrade to a macbook pro with promotion.

I just bought a used one with 16GB of ram for $400 (all 4 corners are damaged quite significantly) and it is absolutely amazing for my use case. 16GB is overkill, but it was a good deal and will be future proof. I kept my last MBP for almost 4 years, hoping I can do the same here.
