People calling Sweden pc hell, but he doesn't get nearly the same kind of resistance in Sweden than in US and Canada. People like to discuss ideas in Scandinavia and then agree to disagree. Maybe it is pc, but it is not a madhouse.

Jordan Peterson is an humanitarian therapist whom, as a left-wing feminist, I have great respect and appreciation for. I have reservations about sexism and vindictive egotists sabotaging feminism and the Left, and wonder who it may be that is benefiting from this "divide and conquer" strategy.

Jordan's compassion for the underclasses and those who have succumbed to destructive impulses toward themselves or others, is significant yet often misunderstood as condoning destructive impulses. Those who project their dread upon him fail to recognise that he is interested in validating those aspects of the lost, in order to resolve their alienation from human fellowship.

Similarly, he is often mistaken for being conservative, dogmatic or evangelical. At first I found this puzzling since these qualities are anti-thetical to his message. I think that the error lies in his holistic and highly appreciative personality coming across as contrary; when he points out that it's ok for women to choose to have children, for instance, he is mistaken for evangelising that lifestyle, or lamenting a lost chauvinistic era, or something like that, when in fact he is merely signalling that if that is your authentic decision about yourself then that is valid and there is a place for you in an holistic, diverse and dynamic society.

Similar condemnation is given to him when he allows men to feel self-love, as if this somehow diverts their love from women. In fact this love precludes some would-be predators from manifesting as predators, and instead provides them with an opportunity to contribute positively to society and relate positively with women.

I see Jordan as one of the most effective feminists of the present era because he is restoring relationality and acknowledgement of the strength of co-operation among diverse groups, and the value of varying qualities and perspectives when there is a will to include and relate with everyone.

I look forward to the full interview.

How does Peterssson hmm yaah immediately look better the moment he's on Swedish TV. How the hell are you all so amazing? Czech Republic and Scandinavia are freak countries where you're hard pressed to find someone not good looking.

Seems like he struggles a lot with himself. I don't know, just my opinion.

I don't quite get the "never hearing words of encouragement" thing. It doesn't add up with the helicopter parenting and snowflake youth of the last few decades. Most youth I've dealt with has NO interest in hearing words from elders and seem to know better. Generality of course.
