Totally in my running era!! After a few days of filming this, I realized everything I did over the weekend had to do with running somehow so here we go with a running vlog! From taking you to the gym, to a long run, then to watch the United Half Marathon. I didn't go much into my training plans or specifics but can definitely do a separate video on all of that. Tbh running is what's keeping me sane these days and I'm having a lot of fun this training block. Thanks for watching xx

Riveting journalism. 🤣 this process to get yourself ready for running is like literally exactly how everything goes lolol. Doing anything is so much work haha. But especially running / public exercise.

Also I just realized I have no idea what these gels do. I thought it was like easy calories/nutrients to consume. But is it like protein shake-adjacent?

I'm so happy you got to experience such clarity that day. It honestly feels so elusive at times. And I think that's why it's so important to remember to be gentle with ourselves. Ultimately, we are organic beings driven by a slew of hormones, internal conditions, and environmental factors that make up a lot of our emotional experience day-to-day. Some days, you're gonna have this like perfect alignment, and some days, just nothing is going to work. But that's just how living works, I guess lol. Nonetheless, very glad you were able to capture and utilize that clarity for a great day. ❤

The NYC Half Marathon is one of my favorite days of the year; I've run that race for three straight years, and the aura of city, the crowds, the route, and the runners themselves never get old! I'm glad that your friend did so well at his first race, especially without a lot of formal training, but more, your support (and movement from point-to-point, very impressive!) really made that race even more memorable for him, so well done to you! It's been a while since I've seen one of your vlogs - my goodness, those cats have gotten HUGE!! Take care, and good luck in Jersey City!
