i have a procedural dungeon generated on my map and wanted to start the game once it finish, being trying to implement interfaces for 2 days with no luck, this worked for me in 4 minutes, probably not the best implementation but i dont care, ty

But if I want to update the variable later from that same place... It just doesnt work, I have to set a target object reference idk what to do now

Works great! Instead of using a custom event I plugged it into my "On Component Overlap Event (Sphere)". I guess they are both events or something, idk. Anyways thanks!

when you say " make sure your write the custom event in there though, at about 3 minutes. im not sure what you mean because im having that problem, i can print a string and the variables seem to be there but not doing anything and getting errors in reference to the other blueprint.

Dude. I got stuck with the Cast To node. I did Cast To like 1 time and was like "Oh Thats cool!" So now my brain equates Cast To as a way to get a foreign variable in like every freakin situation and I get so confused sometimes. Half the time my Cast fails.
