One thing most of us all will all deal with at one point or another is a nosebleed. Nosebleeds (also called epistaxis) are very common as 60% of people will have at least one nosebleed in their lifetime. Because of the location of the nose in the middle of your face and the large number of blood vessels close to the surface in your nose lining, the nose can be an easy target for nosebleeds and injuries. In this video I will go over the two kinds of nosebleeds which are described by the site of the bleed. The two main types are anterior nosebleed and posterior nosebleed, with one being more serious than the other.

Sir my son is having nose bleeding problem since last two and half year. I checked the time duration whenever there is a weather change, and due to crying more water gets drained from his nose and it becomes dry. Bleeding stops within 2 to 3 minutes but this situation occurs on a regular basis. Please show us the right path and it would be great if we get some medical help. My son is 9 years old.
