I've lived in Florida my entire life and been through countless hurricanes and I have never seen devastation like this. I am shocked at some of the footage I have seen. 1000 people not accounted for in North Carolina. That's a truly sad day. My prayers are with NC and it's residents .😢

People in my area own chainsaws for stuff like this, we clear roads faster than the county.

It's heartbreaking to see so many struggling right now. Makes you realize how we all need to come together, not just during crises but always. Kindness goes a long way! 💔✨

We almost bought property in Asheville last year. After realizing there were ZERO building regulations to ensure proper buffer zones regarding landslides and flooding risks, we decided to invest our money in Virginia instead. The realtors thought we were paranoid. Just wow. I wish all the victims of this terrible storm a speedy recovery and may those who lost their lives rest in peace 🙏

Thank god for federal funding that will come through this is what our taxes should go to! I’m sorry what you have lost but I hope you have smooth recoveries!
