How to link the DJI Mavic Air 2 to the Remote Control

The DJI Mavic Air 2 should come from the factory already bound to the remote control. In the event you need to rebind and link to the remote control, I demonstrate how to do so in this video.

Really like the animated finger tap. It makes it clear as to where in the app to tap. DJI linking instructions "Press the linking button on the aircraft", Aldryn - "Press and hold the power button". Thanks for clearing up that instruction as I'm sure many users will be scratching their head wondering where is this "linking button". And who in the world would down vote this video??

I thought I had this problem, but it just turned out to be a bad cable. So I replaced the usb-c to lighting cable with one from Apple and it worked fine on my iPhone 11 Pro. Thanks for posting this it was hard to try figure out how to do this when I first had this problem.

Thanks so much for revealing what the "linking button" is and for showing how to complete the linking process. I bought a replacement MA2, and I was flummoxed when I couldn't control the aircraft with the Remote Controller. After some anguish I remembered that the aircraft needs to be paired with the Remote Controller. But then I was stymied at DJI's instruction to press the "linking button." Huh? Thank goodness an internet search brought me to this video!

One thing I might add to your excellent work: If this a new aircraft that has never been initialized and registered with DJI, after you have linked the aircraft and Remote Controller, keep watching the DJI Fly screen. It will give you further instructions. If you ignore them, you will eventually get a notification that the linking failed. No problem. Just repeat the procedure. But this time follow the screen prompts that come after the initial linking process. This includes the option to buy aircraft insurance within 48 hours of initialization.
