I know how its supposed to pair with my rc controller, but it isnt working. Ive updated the firmware on the controller and the drone mini 3 pro using my pc, but still wont pair. It times out every time. The blue light turns red next to the green battery indicator lights on the controller. Do you know of any other reasons why the drone and controller don’t pair correctly?

I just bought a new DJI MINI 3 from an “DJI authorized seller” to replace my lost mini 3. That’s right the new mini 3 won’t pair to my RC controller.
Tried more than a dozen times to pair. The drone acted like it was receiving a signal from the controller but the the controller said to try again. Controller is in like new condition. Never dropped it or abused it in any way.
Guess I’ll return the drone to the seller.

so I got a new mini 3 to replace my broken one but I need to find a way to reset the connection step because it always starts with the automatic aircraft search by itself even though I have unbind the broken aircraft

IDK if the process changed from when you created the video, but I just spent the last 90 minutes online with DJI trying to resolve why pairing failed every time. It turns out that powering-on the drone is insufficient - a separate operation is required to put the drone into Pairing mode (RC2, M4P). Pairing mode is indicated on the drone with a different flashing pattern of the green LED "battery power" lights. Without this step, pairing failed every time; with the correct pairing configuration, it worked perfectly first time. I thought the application's instructions could have been clearer on this point. I hope this information helps someone else in the future.

Wrong advise… after drone and RC is on… you need to hold the power button on the drone again for 4 sec
