How To Fix DJI Mavic Pro 2 Remote Control Syncing / Connection Issue

I had the same issue when I got the Mavic Pro so I tried using the same method and it worked! DJI please make setting up your drones easier as it's frustrating especially when we just want to FLY!!!

Now I'm ready to try this new little beast out.

Not sure if you know the answer to this but I have now been trying to set up my drone for four straight days. After several issues and fixes for them (like your video), I have now discovered that my phone is the problem. The standard USB option is set to "charge". Everytime I try to change that, it resets after a few seconds. I tried it with the option "USB debugging" on and off but it keeps on resetting. Do you have any idea at all how I could fix this?

For those like me where this doesn't work: debug usb on your phone and it should be ok. This video is a lifesaver. Had my mavic 2 pro for years and all of a sudden during our Switzerland trip it didn't want to work anymore. Happy I can fly again!

So why would it work connecting the phone with that USB A port only and not the other USB port on the side? What would be preventing that from working? Thanks.

Once the drone and the remote are paired to the phone, do I need the ridiculous small USB-c and the microUSB cable connected ?

IM GONNA try your suggestion, I'm so excited to try it because DJI's moronic support team is just plain asleep on this issue, there are so many grounded aircraft because of this major flaw.

Important that remote and drone have the same exact firmware update or they won’t connect . Both need to be updated separately it seemed to me

This was really helpful, went out this afternoon for a train picture, had issues with the side cable for the past week, had to fly back blind with the device not connected, I will 1000% use this instead.
