I used the second method on my replacement Pro Platinum. Worked great, without a hitch! Very quick. Once the RC started beeping, I just pushed the button on the aircraft, and it immediately linked.

How long does the connecting process take? Mine has been saying "CONNECTING..." for several minutes

Hi - why on earth do you guys insist on playing music that is much louder than your voice (or even at all) and virtually drowns out what you are saying!!!! Also taking your instructions a tad slower so that a complete newbee can follow what you are actually doing with each setting change - FOLLOWED BY A BRIEF PAUSE WHEN ENTERING EACH DIFFERENT MENU TO PERMIT US NEWBEES TIME TO SEE WHERE YOU ARE GOING - would be hugely beneficial! While the demo content was professional the actual delivery was anything but! Much food for thought gentlemen!
