Thankyou so much bro! This just saved the day, I tried an 18v ridgid first but it wasnt enough. the 20v max worked for me too, I guess that 2 volts makes a big difference

Did he charge a lead acid battery at 12 V from a lithium battery 18 V?!

Why is it not burning any fuse or wire. It’s 20v isn’t it?

*When its your LAST & ONLY option. on a desperate NEED, otherwise AVOID!!!*

*IF you have a tool with a 12-Volt battery, you might wanna start.with that BEFORE exceeding all WE KNOW, he might have FRIED some other component within his Truck-system!*

*BUT SOMETIMES, WHEN YOU GOTTA!!!*

Dont listen to the idiots here that say stuff will ruin. Ive done this several times on several vehicles with several different types of batteries over the years. Never had an issue. Just dont crank and crank with it on there cuz the amps will prob kill the drill battery. One crank for a second to start and thats it. Also use pennies in the terminals on battery and hook jumper cables to it. Not some thin wire that will melt. And yes its best to let sit for a few minutes to charge the main battery. Dont just try starting right off the bat. Then youll put that ebtire load onto the drill battery. Common sense is your friend when doing things that may seem unusual. Lol

With a tool battery you don’t even gotta wait 10 min it will crank it instantly

It’s dangerous for the 12v system, especially on a newer vehicle. To each their own though

Slide one penny in the + slot and another penny into the negative slot. Hook your jumper cables to it and 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Works like a champ on my kia

Didn't tell us what kind of wires you used to connect them. Like it's a secret or something

Can someone help. I was using my battery to jumpstart my car. And then i mistakenly place the b+ into positive of the car battery and b- into the negative of the car battery. And it light up. And now my dewalt 18v battery wont work. Can someone help. Can my dewalt battery be repaired ?

Ridiculous. Car batteries operate at around 13.5 volts. You lucked out you didn't destroy your car computers. I can only speculate that somehow you lucked out trying just the right wire that had just the right resistance to drop the difference in voltage across it.
DO NOT DO THIS S LITTLE :KNOWLEDGE IS A VERY FSNGEROUS THING.DONT SAY YOU HAVENT BEEN WARNED

I got it all hooked up here but im not gonna tell you what wires or connecters i used because its a big secret even tho the correct wiring was probably the only thing keeping me from frying my cars computer system. But im not gonna tell you what wiring i used im gonna leave the most important information out. And let you figure it out for yourself but if u dont use the same wiring that i used you'll probably fuck your car up. But make sure u hit the like button even tho im not gonna tell you what wiring i used or even what connecters i used for that matter lol
