The Microsoft Activision Deal has been blocked by the FTC as a court needs to rule on the injunction filed by the FTC. Microsoft and Activision have filed a reply to the FTC's injunction opposing their stance. Let's go over it all right now.

No, there is no compelling argument that the FTC could make for this case. What this case really amounts to is that the FTC objects the deal just because it does (at least that would've been the most honest argument the FTC could make).
