...maybe just hold down the power button until the console shuts off. Then power on. This removes the system cache and temporary files without factory reset. 😉

I have yet to encounter my Xbox "being slow".
If the system menu has issues, press Xbox, menu button and then A to refresh. Or just reboot the console.
Don't fall for this video. It's not worth the hassle.
It will delete all your local saves, captures, settings, home Xbox settings etc.
You do not want to do the entire first time setup again. Especially not for a problem that doesn't exist.

You can clear the temp files from the storage settings without wiping all your account info etc
