I use a vga and dvi only Monitor daily with my hdmi laptop with the help of a dvi to hdmi adapter when buying adapters get the dvi it’s higher quality

Fun Fact: A separate Audio cable needs to be plugged into the adapter and the monitor for audio

I used my sony trinatron CRT to play my series s with an HDMI to AV out converter. Ran surprisingly well lol.
