Jordan Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist and a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto. His main areas of study are in abnormal, social, and personality psychology, with a particular interest in the psychology of religious and ideological belief and the assessment and improvement of personality and performance.

Peterson has bachelor's degrees in political science and psychology from the University of Alberta and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from McGill University.

He was a post-doctoral fellow at McGill from 1991 to 1993 before moving to Harvard University, where he was an assistant and then an associate professor in the psychology department.

In 1998, he moved back to Canada as a faculty member in the psychology department at the University of Toronto, where, as of 2019, he is a full professor.

Peterson's first book, Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief (1999), examined several academic fields to describe the structure of systems of beliefs and myths, their role in the regulation of emotion, creation of meaning, and several other topics such as motivation for genocide. His second book, 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos, was released in January 2018.

In 2016 Peterson released a series of YouTube videos criticizing political correctness and the Canadian government's Bill C-16, "An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code".

The Act added "gender identity and expression" as a prohibited ground of discrimination, which Peterson characterised as an introduction of compelled speech into law, although legal experts have disagreed.

He subsequently received significant media coverage, attracting both support and criticism. Peterson is associated with the "Intellectual Dark Web".

The problem is the suggestion of a friendship after rejecting him. Why a friend? Why would you wanna be friends? Acquaintance: sure, no problem.
Looking at it from your point of view: okey you have fun with this guy, but you don't feel attracted sexually. He asks you out and you're in an uncomfortable situation. You tell him just what comes to mind, which is "im not interested, but we can be friends". Instead think a bit of how he feels. You want him to ignore his feelings? If you reject him, which is perfectly fine, then interactions should be cut off after politely wishing well (i hope you do if you wanted to be friends anyway). That would be a healthy way for both people involved and from my point of view how a woman should reject a man. No crappy, delusional, dishonest, ulterior "friendship"

I got a female friend I used to actually like. But I don’t like her any more in that way. Instead of trying to get her to like me that I way I said ya know what let me try this friend with a female who isn’t into me. Turns out she’s pretty cool so far. I say so far because the minute she ask for a favor I’m cutting it because I don’t see it as an fwb friendship. I hope it doesn’t turn to that but if it does I’ll just cut her off. Men just gotta stop tryna get the girl to like them by giving up time and resources in hopes of being liked by her for sex. 😂 Men and women can actually be friends without any benefit of sex, money and time to validate her.

Look. A man who can respect a woman enough to be friends is a very rare gem and a valued one. It's one of the best things. It's not a devaluation. You cannot expect a woman to have intimate relationships with every person. Also we have the right to be single. And: most men don't even respect or like women they want to sleep with.

This is true...
If the male wants ANY female. If this video was true, then men wouldn't have fetishes and preferences, they would chase after any woman. "High quality" woman wouldn't be a thing. But oftentimes guys complain about inability to gain "that specific kind of a woman", not "any" woman. They have a list of types they DON'T WANT or prefer not to have in their date.

Most guys want a strong and self-caring woman, as it is representation of survivable genes.
Does a human being that can survive on its own feel the need for securing own genetic presence in the world? Nah they are so self-confident and self-sufficient that they don't choose their partner for what a good person they are, but for what pleasures they can gain from them, and sometimes (with good quality of life - most of the time) pleasure doesn't mean survivability.
They will choose the "winner" who can dump them any moment, if the women fail if satisfy them.

So it's unrealistic. Women select themselves a partner out of those who have selected them.

We all are subject to distributing people to groups and making preferences.

How about the female just wants to be friends. It's like when a girl likes a boy but the boy is interested and attracted to someone else, they can still be civil and to a certain degree friendship but the boy or girl will like the person they like.
At least the person is letting you know so people can keep searching. Instead of using the person but eyy there people that will take advantage and use people so be careful out there.
