Choking is a common emergency in all the age groups - infants, children, and adults. Generally, choking occurs when a foreign object or substance heads the wrong way towards the lungs (or airway). There two types of choking, namely Mild and Severe. Mild choking results from an airway that is partially blocked by a foreign object. Severe choking occurs when the airway is completely blocked by a foreign object. In this video, choking is visualized as a tree to make it easier to understand and follow.
