Dental professional here 🙋🏻‍♀️🦷

It’s important to brush in the morning (to remove the bacteria after sleeping) and at night (to remove food or beverage from the day). We recommend a fluoride toothpaste if you tend to get cavities. Flossing is always a good idea to remove the food and debris from the day of. Yes, we can tell if you aren’t brushing or flossing. However, speaking for myself, I don’t try to guilt my patients if they are at least trying or even using floss picks. Your toothbrush can’t get in between your teeth like floss can, this is where we tend to see cavities in the “flossing zone”.
I wish oral health was taken as serious as overall health. The bacteria in your mouth can enter the bloodstream and cause further complications for those who have systemic diseases.

Hope this helps! Take care of yourself and your smile! 🤩🦷🪥

Omg it is THIS video. I have been struggling with some type of fungal issue on my scalp for years and since I have curly hair I let them dry naturally after washing them. I saw dermatologists, some said it was stress related, some gave me references of super expensive chemical shampoos to use. It got to points of big chunk of skin detaching and lots of bleeding at times, I was ashamed. Never saw the advice to dry my scalp. So even though I cannot blow dry my hair I now.diffuse my scalp gently to not mess with the curls but enough to dry the scalp. My problem is GONE and I couldn't remember which content creator told to do this. So so grateful for this help which made my scalp healthier, my hair is growing better and I am much less stressed because turn out that it was the other way around hahaha. The issue was making me stressed (itchy in public dandruff falling etc...)
Thank you so much !!!

As someone who grew up without someone teaching me how to clean myself as a child, this is super helpful! Thank you!

As someone with sensory processing disorder who frequently does many of the things you suggested as a way of dealing with/preventing sensory overload and triggers I’m very happy to see that they’re good for my health! Thanks for sharing!

I talked to my doctor about sweating too much (as in "even at my office job in the winter") and he prescribed me a prescription antiperspirant.
It was about $30, I use it every 5-10 days, and a bottle lasts me 3-4 months.
I think it literally pays for itself in non-stained shirts. I can't believe it took me this long to look into it, all because I just thought "nah, I can't have hyperhidrosis, otherwise I'd know!".

While it is true that what he is saying is accurate, it is valid to keep in mind, as he pointed out himself, that what he said is not valid to everyone. People in tropical countries, like Brazil, not only have the habit of showering everyday for the most part, but also see it as a necessity given how much people sweat because of the heat.

As someone with ridiculously bad eczema, I know that hot water is bad.

But people that don’t have eczema will never how how euphoric it feels to have scalding hot water run over your skin, it literally brings me to my knees

Another thing, if you’re skipping shower, CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES, INCLUDING INNER WEAR. From my anecdote, all discomforts associated with not showering are due to wearing the same clothes. Don’t do that, just change your damn clothes.

Thanks for talking about 2-in-1 products. My husband wants to use a 5-in-1 product that can be used for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, salad dressing...😂
