As a Robert IDK fan, and also a Marvel fan, Robert, the way you explained us is funny 😂
I understand why people think about why we would always talk about Marvel movies every time. Honestly, for me, Marvel brings me a lot of joy and comfort. Since your workplace has a table where people would talk about Marvel movies, I think they just enjoy Marvel as much as I do. Just Maybe, they are sharing their opinions on the movies, predictions on what will happen to the characters in the future, making theories like we're Matpat, planning to watch a new upcoming movie together, fangirling/fanboying characters and so much more.

Have I ever gone swimming?
Yes, almost drowned and was traumatised by the event, I will never get into a pool ever again.

Honestly don't know how many people actually know who the Barenaked ladies are. My friends genuinely thought I was gone mental when I told them about their songs. They didn't even know that If I Had A Million Dollars was made by them. Crazy.
