Good question! They brought 30 of us ladies to a local small town police station. They had the 30 of us between 4 holding cells for 2 days. It was super chill. Cells left open, real bathroom, literally could walk outside. There were some sketchy moments ladies and officers disappeared together 😏😏 but we got McDonald’s 🤷🏼‍♀️

It should be illegal not to evacuate the prisoners during a situation like this.

We got the outer bands of Milton a couple of days ago. Lost electricity for a few minutes. Thank goodness it wasn’t as bad where I live like with previous hurricanes. Hope everyone is safe. ❤

An article came out saying that during milton a jail Manante county Refused to evecuate . That is a lie . The jail was not near the path of landfall . It waa 20 min from me landfall hit siesta key . In sarasota at 830 pm
The jail has a plan if the neee is to evacuate we would go to a "Sisterjail" in another county.

I was evacuated during my incarceration a few years ago. They shipped us four hours north in buses three to a seat with no air or working toilets. Once at the other compound, many of us didn't have bed assignments yet so we had to sleep on the sidewalks outside of the dorms. Today I cherish my bed at home and commit to never reoffending.
