People respect the local authorities, find a shelter, specially if you have kids, old people, or if you have any type of medical conditions… Milton is seriously a big storm

Homes normally have 8 ft ceilings, so the storm surge would be double the height of your ceiling if they get as bad as 15 feet. Water would wash right through your entire house.

In 10/24, the House passed a bill to add funding to FEMA's budget with a vote of 341-82. All 82 "NO" votes came from Republicans. The bill did not include an additional $10B for FEMA's $3B deficit.
