You can just here the anguish and urgency in her voice. She said that there are places for people to go that are not far away. I will continue to pray for everyone. 😕

How can people evacuate when they’ve not even been rescued yet from the first storm?

Don't stay. A storm doesn't have regard for us.

Hi LiveNow from Fox, any way you cut it that one hurricane Milton is a major threat for basically the entire Florida peninsula. I myself am a seasoned hurricane survivor, have gone through several hurricanes starting from the brutals cat 4 hurricane Andrew way back in 1992 to cat 3 hurricane Wilma in 2005 here in Miami. My best advise to all the folks up in Florida, including myself, is that as the Attorney General said, to evacuate from areas of mandatory evacuation, since you wont have the chance to do it while the storm hits your area. As for other people outside of mandatory evacuation zones I would say to not be afraid, load yourself up with groceries and non perishable food, plenty of propane gas and plenty of bottled fresh water and prepare yourself with your grill for about 5 to 10 days of cooking within your front yard or patio before power is restored in your area. My prayers are with all of us to be spared from harm during the storm, rgs

Please be safe and leave. They are reporting that the number of deaths from Helene could be what they are reporting with a couple of zeros added. People were huddled together in buildings that were washed away. Bodies were found in trees and many are buried in mud. Don't risk it...better to be safe than sorry. 2COR10:5

Oh No! Another one. I pray for the families affected and lost loved ones. My wife and I lost everything in a flood. We are in PA on a mountain but we don’t even feel safe at times with flooding

My in-laws live in Panama City, FL and Helene went right over them. No home damage and they never even lost power. I hope everyone in FL is as lucky as they were during this storm.

There's plenty of YouTubers doing survival videos on how to put together a bug out bag for survival. The backpack type is the best, it gives you free hands.

It's about 4pm, Sunday... Please get to a designated shelter, if nothing else. Evacuating half the state is expensive for a lot of us, in many ways. Staying in the path, or close to the Gulf, can be fatal. Never underestimate the power of Prayers. It's how I deal with it....
