Thank you so much for putting this piece of content out. I just turned 40 and have been feeling a drop in energy and libido over the last 2 years. Got tested two weeks ago, and although my total test was 617, my SHBG was was 86 and my free was 6.7! I start 200mg of cyp/week next week and I am beyond stoked. The funny thing is that I still compete in BJJ, surf regularly (2 hour sessions), and stay ripped. People don’t realize that you may look great on the outside but feel like total crap under the hood.

Very interesting video. I'm 55j old and training from my 15j 5 days a week. I never used anything. Now, I am willing to know how to maximize my T levels on a natural way to be the best version of myself. Can you make a topic of that some time. It would really help me. Thanks for all the great videos

OMG. So glad I found this video. By far, the best vid I've seen for TRT chemistry analysis and monitoring. Very knowledgeable Dr, very easy to follow along. Plane English. Thank you so much!!

Age 49, been on TRT for over 10 years. One thing not talked about is other meds you may be taking and how they may affect Test. If you are on any kind of anti anxiety or anti depressant you may not get the full affect of test as those meds can affect libido, sexual performance and energy levels. Also, I've noticed TRT being way more beneficial for those that lift weights or exercise as that is when you really notice the difference. Not sure if it is worth taking if you just want for libido and/or other health benefits as it is hard to maintain a steady balance of hormone levels without the ups and downs. You also have to keep an eye on RBC's and Hematocrit levels.

I’ll be 55 in June and I’ve been increasing my lifting everyday.I haven’t waked up with erecting for a long time.I don’t smoke or drink.I’m not a diabetic. I’m skinny fat. I eat 4 organic eggs everyday with avocado. With Greek yogurt and organic blueberries. I’ve been trying to get my V shaped look back.

Having high testosterone levels is extremely important, especially in this day and age. Most men today have suboptimal levels of testosterone - a lot less than their fathers or grandfathers had just 30-50 years ago. There are various reasons for this. One factor that is oftentimes neglected is endocrine disruptors in our environment (i.e. xenoestrogens, BPA, phthalates, triclosan, etc), phytoestrogens in food (i.e. soy, which is in almost ALL processed foods), and hypothyroidism (subclinical or autoimmune Hashimoto's disease). There are many ways to increase testosterone levels naturally. Diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes can make a tremendous difference in boosting testosterone, DHT, growth hormone (GH), IGF-1, and other anabolic hormones. Sleeping before 11 p.m. works wonders for your endocrine/hormonal health. Including more cholesterol in your diet which is a precursor to all steroid hormones helps as well - red meat (beef, lamb, bison etc), seafood, eggs, full-fat dairy, organ meats (offal), and saturated fats in general (even plant-based sources, such as coconut fat/oil, cocoa butter, etc). Weightlifting, especially multi-joint exercises, such as deadlifts and squats, have been shown in various studies to increase testosterone, IGF-1, and GH levels. Tribulus Terrestris is a famous supplement that offers short-term benefits, but doesn't address the root cause of low testosterone. No one has a 'Tribulus deficiency'. Concerning supplements, the big 3 are 1) Magnesium, 2) Vitamin D3, and 3) Zinc. Choose a magnesium formula that contains many forms of magnesium as every form carries unique benefits compared to others. Concerning vitamin D, go for a product that is sourced from animal-based sources to maximize bioavailability. Do not use more than 5, 000 IU per serving as over the 5, 000 IU mark there are malabsorption issues. Break the dose into 2 or 3 servings throughout the day, depending on when you consume a high-fat meal. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that requires fat to be efficiently absorbed in the intestines. When it comes to zinc, use zinc picolinate 30 - 40 mg per day taken with a fat-containing meal as zinc picolinate is partially fat-soluble. A nice read on increasing T levels naturally through weightlifting, nutrition, and supplements is 'Vintage Physique' by George Kelly. Old-School bodybuilding diets were very rich in testosterone-precursor compounds, such as cholesterol, saturated fats, monounsaturated fats, zinc, magnesium, vitamin D, B complex vitamins, vitamin E, selenium, boron, iodine, etc. This is one of the reasons why Оld-Schооl bоdybuilders looked like real-life superheroes. If you combine high T with regular weightlifting, the results are compounded (1+1=3). Testosterone also makes you stronger in the gym and more explosive athletically.

I have watched SO many videos on the topic and this is hands down THE BEST of them [others are not even close].

This was super insightful. Some of it still went over my head, but the key takeaway for me is that I need to have a deeper talk with my doctor at my next wellness check about my bloodwork. It's something we usually gloss over but I'll be 43 soon and feel like I've been experiencing changes that I've not been able to put my finger on.

Bro, this content was next level stuff! Keep asking the right questions! I’ve seen other Doctor’s YT videos and so far none of them have gone this deep on the subject. Thanks for the good content.
