So helpful! Some doctors don't believe in HRT. It's a waste of time to go the appointment and the doctor is unwilling to put you in HRT

I am on HRT low dose for 3 months now...just turned 56. I am feeling much better now than not taking them.

What if I’m not interested in HRT? Are there some women who don’t need it? Or is it something we should all take?

If I do not want bioidentical hormones what are the other best options to ask for estrogen and peogesterone

I had breast cancer at 38 yrs old, I need to find a provider that is willing to prescribe HRT to me. I’m 51 yrs old now, I do not have a fear of breast cancer reoccurrence. I would like protection against osteoporosis and heart disease. These hot flashes are causing me to go sleep deprived. Does anyone know of a provider that would work with me in north central FLA?

If only I’d found help like this 12 years ago! They kept telling me I wasn’t peri-menopausal for years, blamed everything else but never suggested that! Then when they did blood test kept say not yet. At the age of 53 I had a period and then nothing, my skin has dried up, even the tips of my fingers have changed & my iPhone doesn’t recognise my prints, my hair is awful, I feel like a dried prune. When I’ve talked to my dr I just get told to think myself lucky I transitioned into menopause so smoothly.
Is there nothing out there that can help post menopause women?

I went to a female menopause dr she suggested she doesn't go on HRT and I'm 7 years in she felt it would not help me and because I have heart palpitations she wouldn't recommend it. So I bought new vitamins, magnesium and vaginal cream

That would be great if I COULD take HRT. Due to Estogen positive breast cancer, I can not take it. Wish there were other alternatives that actually work. I've had hourly hot flashes for the past 9 years. It SUCKS! Happy to be alive, but my quality of life is definitely suffering.
