In our TRT center, we use mainly use injections because you simply get the best static results from that ... gels/creams are all over the place. Dr. McClain did a great job explaining the differences ... thank you Dr.!

After 6 years of injecting I went with compounding test cream.
Levels were same with both and I prefer roll on creams inside upper arms.
No issues with absorbing or anything else this doc mentioned.
Only downside is that compounding pharmacy cream is more expensive than vials.
Injecting weekly gets also to be old and immune system always reacts to injections hence "test flue" since injecting anything in body passes regular immune system defenses gets to trigger it.
Daily application of creams is easy and mimics biological normal curve of hormone levels vs juts a big spike after injections and long drop down.
Our bodies are not designed that way.
Levels of test should be highest early morning and go down through out the day vs staying elevated for a week.

In Norway we mostly get testogel 50 mg for use in TRT. I've been using 50 mg gel for about 9 months now. My starting levels were 2.9 nmol/l or 83.64 ng/dl, and on my last blood test the results showed 50 nmol/l or 1442.1 ng/dl. Im happy with the results from the testosterone in gel form! I apply it every morning but its no hassle, ive done injections before aswell but prefer the gel form.

I’ve used the creams and I’ve use the injectables that I got to say the cream works way better than the injectables for me.I don’t have the high hemocritelevels the high estrogen levels cause I’m using the cream daily and my testosterone level is in the 1300s

I’ve had great results from trans-scrotal cream (compounded). 100mg morning/night. My blood work over 18mths. reflects 1500-1800. Significant body comp improvements with clean diet and resistance training. I started at 55.

I am a COVID survivor and Remdesivir survivor .after COVID my vitamin D and and testosterone dropped right off and my thyroid and liver and intestines are damaged from Remdesivir and COVID .I just started vitamin D therapy light therapy and milk thistle to help my liver recover .I lost much of my muscle mass .went from 185 lbs to 147 lbs .Need to get back into shape and dealing with muscle atrophy and contractures .the endocrinologist suggested TRT along with upping idodine and vitamin D and sunshine .Physio says aquarobics to start with .no weights or running yet .They say it could take 3+years to recover .WTF

Once a week testosterone is going to be a thing of the past. It causes major swings up and down and isn’t mimicking normal physiology at all. Micro dosing daily is the future

I have used the pills, the andro-gel, and injections for testosterone. (Legally) and no doubt the injections are %1, 000 better and typically just once a week dosage rather then everyday with the other dosing methods.

My endocrinologist (at the VA) refuses to give me anything other than Androgel 1.62% (2 pumps daily). She says the numbers are good enough (low 400s) and the shot peaks/dips too much. But I still feel like absolute ass!

Definitely my questions. Compounded cream scrotal sure sounds good to avoid estrogen spiking. Arimidex isn’t good.

Can I get my prescriptions and fill them at a local pharmacy? I don't wanna stay with a clinic. I just want my treatment at costs. I was diagnosed with hypogandism, but I can't afford my treatment with telemedicine clinics. Goodrx has all my treatments at 1/10th the cost, they charged me. They wouldn't give me my prescriptions to take to a local pharmacy

I’m on topical and it’s not working well. Last blood test showed no increase. Just doubled it, but I don’t think it’s going to work enough and I hate putting this much gel on.

Just got out of ER again, 3rd time. Dvt first time and second time, 3rd time this weekend was PE both lungs.
