I’ve suffered with neuropathy over 13 years since my breast diagnosis. Chemo has really turned my body into a disaster. I wish there was more research and answers.

Castor Oil on its own helps on the feet and cayenne pepper added to the oil brings nice warmth. It really relieves pain. Just take a cloth the size of your sole, drizzle castor oil on it, add 1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper and put on bottom of foot and slip a sock over top and sleep with that. It also makes your skin look great. If you get oil on your sheets, Dawn dish soap gets it out.

Thank you so much Kel. I've just completed my chemo for lymphoma. I get alot of numbness and pins and needles.
I find it to be annoying. I start radiotherapy in September also. I will try all that you shown in your video and hopefully that will help. Chemo is very challenging, but I am getting there slowly.
Thank you for your wonderful video.

Folks reading this: you might want to look into R-Alpha Lopoic Acid (needs to be R ALA, not S ALA). My doc also has me on fish oil, vitamin D, CoQ10, and magnesium. Hope this helps — they seem to be helping me with my neuropathy. I didn’t get it from chemotherapy though — none of my doctors can figure out why I have it. I developed it after getting an MRI with contrast and being on methotrexate for three weeks.

So far I’m about 75% healed after having peripheral neuropathy from the neck down to my feet. Wishing you all the best.

Really helpful thank you. I am on Exemestene after AC/Taxol chemo and I definitely found wearing socks to bed helps even thru the hot flushes.

I find working doing kitchen chores like peeling or cutting food helps. In summer I pick fruits and vegetables. You have to be able to sensé ripe versus green by touch since you can’t always see. I find I have general nerve damage in many areas smell, taste, balance, appetite and others.

I was on vincristine for two rounds and they pulled it because the progression had already moved from my get and hand and goes up to my knees and sometimes even elbows, I was on carboplatin and vincristine together doctor said if we don’t pull it now I’ll likely have nerve damage the rest of my life, 27yr old pttp rare brain cancer, that spread to my spine

I have found B vitamins to be helpful in decreasing neuropathy in my feet, face and arm. I take nutritional yeast which is a non-synthetic, whole food source of all of the B vitamines and extra B1 (thiamine).

What a great video! I'm only at the beginning of my chemo (6 of 18 done) but I already have this in my fingers. Can I already start with some of these exercises? Or should I wait until chemo is done?

I am assuming you should do this AFTER you have chemical induced neuropathy.
What about PREVENTING it? Such as icing your hands and feet? People use a cold cap to save their hair. It basically freezes the hair follicle not allowing he chemical to destroy it.
What would you recommend for icing to STOP neuropathy to your hands and feet?

CIPN can happen in your head too and years later

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. I have chemo induced neuropathy in my feet. I have a Power Plate vibration machine. Is it save to use if you still have active tumors ? I am still doing chemo every week. I ask my oncologist but he is not familiar with vibration machines.
