20 Minute Daily Self-Care | Yoga Nidra (NSDR) | Guided Meditation

This guided Yoga Nidra or Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) guided meditation is a short session that can be done daily for increased relaxation and stress relief, reduced anxiety, and to encourage a deeper more grounded sense of connection to oneself.

Yoga Nidra is a state between waking and sleeping consciousness. In this state of deep relaxation, the body-mind system is not completely unconscious. There is an active level of primordial awareness which is still functioning. At this level, there are a number of changes happening the body-mind system: endorphins are being released, long-held tensions from stress and traumas are being released from the body as well as the mind, the parasympathetic nervous system is being activated which turns off stress reactions in the body and so much more!
