If you look at an almond, the first nail is actually almond shaped. If i requested almond shaped nails, but received rounded stilettos, i wouldn’t be happy. Just because you dont like almond shape, doesn’t really matter. Both shapes are nice, but please check with the paying client first.

I like this hack even for ballerina tips because almond tips tend to be too flat. My nails are curvy, so longer narrow styles fit better. Then I just shape them.

The first one looks perfectly fine for a short almond 🤷‍♀️ id say the second ones are more of an almondetto tho. Some shapes, when they’re that short there’s really only so much you can do for shaping before they start to look weird.

First one looks like almond not oval at all, but the longer tips in almond shape does tend to look more oval and this is a good trick to the eye, longer nails in true almond shape don't look good so a stiletto structure with a less pointy tip it's nice.

I don't think you can really compare the 2 because they're not even the same length. Of course the longer one will give you a more sleeker look.

Thank you! I’ve been asking my nail tech to file my real nails to a stiletto then round off the tip, she looks at me like I’m crazy…I said this way it gives me the “right kind” of almond nails…now she looks at me like I’m fuzzy and picky lol 😆 the pressure of not wanting to ask your nail tech for too much is real. But I want my nails to be done right.

I do the same, a lot of people end up calling them almonetto, though they're just almond to me.

I totally agree!! I think most almond nails look very chunky, and I love stilettos but they’re so sharp they remind me of talons! Lol

I only use these tips as a template because I can get the acrylic gel off more easily.
