Supraventricular Tachycardia - Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, Subtypes, 12 Lead ECG, and Management

Supraventricular Tachycardias (SVT) are common and critical to be able to diagnose and manage. In this video we work to explain this topic clearly. We start by diving into the pathophysiology using drawings and diagrams to understand exactly what is happening to the cardiac conduction system. We use this foundation to discuss the formal diagnostic criteria and apply it to an actual 12 lead ECG. We then break down the different causes of SVT organized by regular and irregular rhythms including things like sinus tachycardia, atrial fibrillation atrial flutter, multifocal atrial tachycardia, AVRT, AVNRT, and more!

Could you please explain and give information about the care required for this condition, Left Subclavian Arterial Steal. I’m 72yrs old and had the tests diagnosis of this condition. I have elevated hypertension on the right side and regular to lower BP on the left. I also have a Pacemaker! I appreciate your input, thanks!
