had this procedure done when i was 8 yrs old. Severe heart failure that went unnoticed for 4 years, when my dad took me in to the hospital, the doctor estimated i only had 2 weeks left to live if they hadn’t caught it when they did. Procedure went well, i am now 31, married with 3 kids and a very healthy momma.

I had 3 ablations for SVT when I was in my teens. If anyone is reading this that is about to go in for procedure, don’t be scared… mine were 25 years ago and it was a breeze so I can only imagine the science has gotten better.

I just had this procedure done for my SVT. I put it off for 5 years and even backed out of the surgery once right before going back because I was too scared. This time we decided to put me out on full anesthesia and I am so glad I did! The surgery was successful and I am so thankful I did it!! It wasn’t bad at all. ❤

Had a catheter ablation for afib about 4 years ago. Total success so far. My quality of life is so much better. I encourage anyone that needs this procedure to get it. After the procedure I had a hard time swallowing food for a couple weeks. My esophagus was sore but it was manageable. I'm very thankful to God and my doctors

I had an ablation for AVNRT a year ago. Wish I’d had it done sooner. Total success & I got a quality of life back. I was 78 😳. I was very nervous; I mean, who would volunteer for such a procedure? But I didn’t feel any discomfort, except … the ice-cold XL electro pads placed in the middle of my back 😮. I say go for it & all the best to you ❤.

I just had an ablation done yesterday for supraventricular tachycardia (which I didn’t know till after) and it was super chill! Very cool actually! I was very nervous but the lord was with me and the doctors where amazing, I live in Canada and they got me in within 3 weeks! I had a very fast heart rate non stop for years and now it’s back to a normal rhythm I’m very happy.

I’ve had this procedure today in Leeds. I was super nervous but they took great care of me. In through my groin, up to my heart to do the procedure. I’m now home 10 hours later. They know what they’re doing

Had mine done 2 months ago. Now feeling better. Just keep calm and wait for at least 2 months for better results. It took almost 2 months to give you a better result. The procedure was a little scary but at the end you'll get rid of the SVT attack. You can go home on the same day of procedure but it depends on your conditions. The doctor may ask you to stay one more day for your monitoring. You need to take the beta blocker tablet for at least 2-3 months after the procedure. It was almost painless procedure you need not to worry about. After the procedure you may get an irregular heartbeat for a couple of days that is normal your heart is trying to get in rhythm. At last this is a good option to get rid of the SVT attack. Just go for it.

I had SVT and I had my ablation done in May 2020. I am so glad I did it. Medication didn’t work well on me and I was tired of going to the ER and worrying about my heart rate all the time. If you are on the fence and it seems like to only viable option, I would advise you to do it.

I am 25 now but I had this done 3 years ago... one of the best decisions of my life! Anyone thinking of going through this - do it! Its worth it! The day I had this done I could not sleep because everything was so quiet and my heart was working so well :) Now, 3 years later, I have no problems and the recovery was pretty quick too.

31 and just got scheduled for an ablation in October for paroxysmal afib. Not stoked but better than being on medication that MAYBE works for the rest of my life.

Had this since I was born but nobody knew it was there because the heart hasn't grown fully as an adult. First symptoms started in November 2015 had first ablation in December 2015 wpw disappeared and came back in February 2016 although during a 24 hour Holter, once was there and then disappeared again. Second ablation April 2017 wpw completely eliminated, never again in rest ecg or in 24 hour Holter. Only symptoms I have sometimes are some extra systoles the feeling of the heart that "jumps" or "stops" for a split second, which according to my doctor is natural because I am a high stress person. I have been in medication since 2017 on loppresor 100mg/4 each morning=25mg each morning. No symptoms at all no side effects, but the worst of it my friends is the mental exhaustion when you go through something like this.

Thank you so much, Doctor, for creating this video. I have this procedure scheduled for next Tuesday and it helped me feel better about it. ❤❤❤

I did this procedure in Sweden, only cost me 30$ thanks to a good health care system. It was painless but uncomfortable when they triggered the arrythmias. Helped for a couple years, but unfortunately my PSVT is back now, so it's never a guarantee that it helps.

I have mine done tomorrow.. Truth be told, my mind is all over the place.. I know I serve a God, and as the human I am, I’m still nervous. But not scared..Because God got me.. Amen.. We all will be okay and live long lives, in the name of Jesus🙏🏾

I had an ablation for AFIB 2 weeks ago. I was very anxious ahead of the procedure but the staff at the hospital did a great job making me comfortable. Unfortunately my symptoms have got worse after the procedure and I am still taking the same meds as before. I have been told it may take up to 3 months to determine the ablation's efficacy and I am still somewhat hopeful that it will improve. It took me almost 2 years to have the procedure done, I live in Canada land of "free" health care albeit VERY slow.
