My OCD traps me when i don't fear it because the thoughts are not me, and i know I won't do the action, and the ocd says that means you want it and like it then i try to check to make sure fear is back so i don't worry so basically fear= safe
No fear = you like/want the thought, and i know it's false

Sometimes I try to force myself to feel anxious. I'm anxious when I'm "calm" physically and anxious when I'm anxious.

I did not do a lot of ERP, because... I'm still not convinced what I'm experiencing really is OCD. But, I can say that I'm getting so used to anxiety, that it's become part of me now. So there are moments where I'm just not reacting much to my topic of anxiety ("HOCD"), and this can be disturbing... I suddenly realize that I "should" feel anxiety, and it can indeed throw me back into ruminations.

Along with this video, a lot of my intrusive thoughts dont even want to stick around for longer than a second anymore. It has caused me doubt if im pushing them away or not but all i do is give the same reply "nice" "cool" "maybe, maybe not" and when im doing replying i notice they arent still rampent in my head like they used to be

Right now it doesn’t cause me anxiety but I still don’t like the thoughts. It’s stressing me out mentally cuz I just want to be happy and I can’t tell if these thoughts are me or now. I hate it.

Sir please can u make a video on stopping the habit of having intrusive Earlier my thoughts were out of anxiety bcz of my break up.... Bcz they became a bad escape from the heartbreak.... But now it's been 8-9 months and now I'm in a very healthy relationship... But now i have become habitual of those intrusive thoughts like... Pedophilic thoughts, hcod, tcod... I just want them to stop bcz i really love my man i don't want to jeopardize my relationship

For A long time I thought my ocd was "just anxiett" what's the difference between rumination that's regular anxiety vs pure o cd?

Hey, I’m having trouble telling if I’m done with needing to work on ocd. I didn’t really track my work and thoughts all that well as I got better, and at this point I’ve been unsure for quite some time. There’s little compulsions I find now and then, but in general it’s difficult to know what to do for exposures when the obvious stuff is gone (my ocd was very severe but not at all now)

Hey!
Is it possible that you can cover the "return" of OCDs thoughts?
For me, most of my worse OCDs fears come and go.
Sometimes they stay calm in my head for years, then all of the sudden, they come back and I still get panics over them, altho I don't stop my life anymore.
